Lusting After... Gardens
I have a lovely little balcony in my flat, but I do really want a garden! Here's my Lusting After Gardens List. Must haves are some greenery and flowers, a lovely outdoor seating area with cool lighting, fun colourful planters and of course a swing! I could spend hours on that as a child, and probably an adult too!

Mini Trend Flash- Flamingos
Still in fashion, is the humble flamingo. Adorning clothes and stationery, and homewares, I love this bright and fun shower curtain and textured cushion. Even better, a DIY way to make lawn flamingos into mallets to play Croquet! Simply fun and fabulous, now go flamingle...

Palette Play Friday
The mix of mint, ginger and grey is really unusual, but it totally works on today's palette play from Jessica Harris. I actually thought it was a plant pot at first, but it turns out it's a cake! Yum- too pretty to eat though!

Colour Pop- Aqua
This week's Colour Pop is all about Aqua. I bought a lovely Ercol table and chairs a couple of years ago and bought some spray paint to paint the legs, so I'll definitely be doing that once I have a bit of space to spraypaint in! Loving the aqua kitchen appliances aswell!

Lusting After... Pool Floats
There are some things in life that I always find myself lusting after. Whether they are too expensive to buy, I
have nowhere to put them, or I just don’t really need one and have
better things to spend my money on, it doesn’t stop me wishing I have one. This week I'm lusting after pool floats- from flamingos to unicorns to pineapples, they are all the rage right now. Living in London, I wouldn't really get much use out of one, especially in this rainy weather, but they just look like so much fun, so i'll keep on dreaming I'm somewhere hot, lying on one in a pool!

Mini Trend Flash- Donuts
I need to know what’s on trend for my job, so here is the first of many Mini Trend Flashes, which collate a few items that I’ve noticed are still bang on trend… They've been around for a while now, but Donuts are still big! From actual donuts to donut shaped cakes to donuts on clothing and housewares, they are everywhere right now, and their popularity isn't abaiting. The new thing now is donut tables at Weddings instead of the usual sweets table. Donut forget to enjoy eating them!

Colour Pop: Acid Yellow
I love colour, and at the moment I’m really loving Colour Pops! As we are in the process of trying to sell our property, everything is pretty white and neutral, as it was recently repainted throughout. To make the place a little bit cheerier though I have been buying the odd colourful item such as a chartreuse yellow light in our hallway and a bright aqua throw for our bed, which really stand out against the other more muted colours. Here is the first of a collection of Colour Pops, to inspire you for the home, the wardrobe or the beauty box. I'll definitely be trying out the bright yellow radiator once we've moved!

Lusting After.... Milkshakes
Another new feature on my blog, Lusting After, comes from me drooling over all the amazing photos on instagram of Milkshakes! I've always been a secret milkshake fan, even if I do feel like a child when I order one, but the humble milkshake of my youth has changed somewhat now! From donuts to biscuits to marshmallows to sprinkles, these 'freakshakes' are an art piece in themselves, and surely taste delicious! I'll definitely be making a trip to Molly Bakes Café in Dalston, London to sample one soon!

Print Design film
I've got something a bit different for you today. I've tried making my own video showing me taking some floral drawings I've done and making them into a print. It's speeded up quite a lot, but it shows you the process I go through when I make a print in Photoshop. It's quite a simple print, I would normally work into the flowers a bit more in Photoshop, but it gives you the gist of what I spend my days doing!
